OSHA and Drywall Training

We are excited to join our community partners in offering OSHA Training and Drywall Installation Training for the community. You can learn about our first edition of the course from April 2023 and see pictures below.

We are planning to offer more training in the near future!

MJAF is offering a 5-day OSHA Training and Drywall Installation Program April 17th-21st 2023, with OSHA Training, Drywall Training, and Professional Development. 9am-4pm. Contact Dorian at 3472998557 to learn more.

Opportunities for NYCHA Residents

  • Calling New York City Housing Authority (NYCHA) residents: Roundabout Theatre Company offers a three-year program that trains technicians in areas that include: carpentry, electrics, audio, properties, and wardrobe. Trainees get hands-on experience, mentoring, and a monthly MTA travel card during the first year. Want to learn more? Attend an April 17 info session. Sign up today.
  • The Workforce1 Brooklyn Industrial & Transportation Career Center will be presenting an in person employment & job training opportunities for NYCHA residents. Workforce1 provides services that will prepare and connect qualified candidates to employment and training opportunities in New York City. Candidates who attend this Workforce 1 event will be granted the fast-track privileges to utilize Workforce1 services and have the opportunity to meet with employers.
